Shelter box

Our speaker, Bill Woodard, lives in Vancouver, WA.  He is an Honorary Member of the Eugene Delta Rotary Club and has been a ShelterBox volunteer for five years.

Bill discovered ShelterBox after a 32 year career with Meier and Frank Department Stores, now Macy’s. He began his ShelterBox career as a speaker and has presented the ShelterBox story to more than 75 Rotary Clubs around the world.   Four years ago he was selected and trained as a ShelterBox Team Response Member.  He has since deployed to 9 disasters on four continents, most recently Haiti this past October.

Today, Bill will share with us how ShelterBox in partnership with Rotary achieves its mission to provide shelter aid to families who have lost everything to disaster.
