OFFICIAL MINUTES OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

 

The Rotary Club of Woodland, WA held their Board Meeting at the Oak Tree in Woodland on February 4, 2008

 

Meeting was called to order at 1:04pm by President John Bohrnsen who acted as chairperson, with the following directors present:

 John Shoup     Sandy Larson  Kathy Griffin   Lisa Palmer

Joy Snead        Carol Rounds    Eric Schei   Guest- Dave Kenny

 

1. Secretary’s Report- Minutes were handed out and accepted as read. 

 

2. Treasurer’s Report- We received reports that will be in the permanent book.  They are for the fiscal year so far.  Dated 7/1/2007- 2/1/2008

 

Old Business-.

  1. Officers in place- We have received a resignation from Dave Ripp due to new out of town Job.  Kathy Griffin made a motion to elect Eric Schei to the empty position.  Carol Rounds 2nd the motion.  All approved.

      

 

New Business-

    1.  Tulip Sales- We do want to do this again this year.  John B will be the person who picks up the flowers from Holland America Bulb Farm. Kathy Griffin will be the one that gets the sign up sheet going for who wants how many.  It is much easier for Benno to have one person that does the picking up of the flowers.  We will also need others to announce this at the other clubs.  Please sign up.
    2. Salvation Army- In regards to the camp for 8-12 years of age,  Carol Rounds will now be in charge of this. 
    3. Charter Night- It will be March 24th.  This will be in lieu of a regular meeting.  John B will be asking the club for a chair person for this.

 

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for March 3, 2008 immediately after the regularly scheduled club meeting at The Oak Tree Restaurant.  Meeting adjourned at 1:39PM.
