OFFICIAL MINUTES OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

 

The Rotary Club of Woodland, WA held their Board Meeting at the Oak Tree in Woodland on June 6, 2007

 

Meeting was called to order at 6:29pm by President Kathy Griffin who acted as chairperson, with the following directors present:

John Bohrnsen     John Shoup                                      

Joy Snead        Lisa Palmer   

 

1. Secretary’s Report- Minutes were handed out and accepted as read. 

 

2. Treasurer’s Report- Lisa will try to get this for us.

 

  1. PTP-No discussion was held at this time.
  2. Foreign Exchange Students- no discussion was held at this time.
  3. Rotary Centennial Project- no discussion was held at this time.

 

6.Old Business-.

    1. Alicia Grassnickel has been paid for her trip.
    2. The grant request from strengthening families has been received and paid as we made the motion last month.

 

7.New Business-

A.     Vicki Barnes submitted a resignation letter due to her going back to school.  We all accepted the resignation but all hope that she can one day return to our club.

B.     With Vicki leaving that leaves an empty board seat.  Joy made the motion to accept John Shoup as the fill for this position.  John B seconded the motion.  The motion was passed.

C.     New Member-It has been proposed that Bill Woodard be accepted for membership.  John B made the motion and Lisa P 2nd.  All approved

D.     We held the meeting at John B’s home for strategic planning for the next year.

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for July 2, 2007 immediately after the regularly scheduled club meeting at The Oak Tree Restaurant.  Meeting adjourned at 8:25PM.
